Hana Yori Dango

I watched the first half of the series, Hana Yori Dango today. Not the anime, but the live action one. Yep. Blame Jasmine for that.

Reactions? Better than I expected, and better than the Taiwanese version, Meteor Garden. Sacrilege? Nah. Just. . . better.

Want proof? My brother stopped programming his very important thesis just to watch it with me! I started watching it and he was intrigued, though at the time he was in front of the PC and programming his thesis. He kept giving comments about the show while doing his thesis so I gave him an ultimatum. Either he programmed his thesis, or he shut down the PC to watch the series with me. Result? He shut down the PC. I kept teasing him about it. I’ll never let him live this down. I’m evil. =)

I supposed I will be asked if the actors were really good looking, since the plot is supposed to center on these good-looking, popular and rich guys. My answer? I’d say they had their own charms, which kind of grows on you as the series progresses.

I will write more tomorrow, after I finish the series. Hopefully I can give it a more thorough review. =)
