Compared to most years, last year was definitely great.
Overall, you’re living a much better life than you were twelve months ago.
And nothing is a better mark of a good year.

Last year was a struggling year for me. And I am still in the process of recovering from it.
My dad passed away so I had to take on the herculean task of being a bread winner. I had a trip abroad, which resulted in being tied up with my company for 2 years. If not for the wonderful people I’ve met during my stay there, I would not have enjoyed it. My boyfriend left for a job in other countries that will last for a year. Despite what happened last year, I’m still hopeful that this year will be a better one.
