Altar Sacrifices

My weirdest conversations actually happen on instant messengers these days. Michan and I were discussing the movie by Mel Gibson, Apocalypto, her reactions to it, and my family’s reaction to it. Predictably we got sidetracked into something else. There was no way around it. It just had to happen. ^_^

michan: well.. up until a few centuries, human sacrifice was considered an art
michan: they ransacked nearby small villages
michan: and captured the men and women and left the children alone (to die)
michan: the women would then be brought back to be sold
michan: the men taken to the alter to be sacrificed
michan: man.. to have lived like that before o_o
me: what? no virgin sacrifices? XD
michan: i think virgin sacrifices were a european tradition
michan: not sure?_?
me: XDDD
me: maybe they were male virgins. XD
me: XDDDDD
michan: HAHAHA XD
michan: that’s for yours and jassan’s altar kachou-sama! XDDDD
me: XDD
me: *cough* not mine… maybe jas’
michan: lol
michan: what’s sacrificed at your altar?
michan: manga? XD
michan: i can see it now
michan: Kachou-sama dressed prettily
michan: sitting up on her throne
me: XDDDD
michan: and demanding in a deep and willful voice, “Bring me their spines…”
me: and then all the manga is laid out in front of me
me: and then i look at them and sigh
me: and say
me: “i’m in love” XDDDD
michan: XDDDDDD
michan: really? you won’t say, “Begin the sacrifice.” ?XD
me: *cough* I prefer the sacrifice be done in the privacy of my own room, thank you.. XD
michan: XDDDD
