I haven’t really been here for quite a while, have I? Imagine my luck when my hard drive had to be reformatted, not once, but twice. Oh, and did I mention that our internet in the office is getting funkier by the minute?

But probably one of the main reasons that I haven’t updated much here is because I haven’t touched Photoshop in a while, other than scan manga for Aerandria. Designing and creating graphics doesn’t hold much interest for me now as it did before. I see my friends who weren’t into designing before who are designing nonstop now. Maybe it’s an attitude of a ‘been there done that’ kind of thing. I actually am content just to let them create the images themselves and I’ll just post it. Maybe I’ll accept submissions in this site to slave off my laziness? ^_^

I’m more concerned about two things now. My Japanese lessons and web programming. At least in those two I don’t get bored as I am now with graphics design. Oh, and whipping Wordpress to do what I want it to do, of course. That’s always such a fulfilling task. >D

I feel like I’m running around, to and fro, from whichever place I am needed. Running a scanlation site isn’t as easy as it’s cracked up to be, especially if you’re the main supplier of scanned manga for your group, advertising it on various sites, recruiting members, updating the website, coordinating with the staff members. I’m not complaining. It’s hard work but even though I get tired, I am loving every moment of it, especially when you get positive comments and reactions from visitors. It makes everything worthwhile.

And no, this entry has nothing to do with the image for this post. I just really like it so I included it here. I have a right to be random once in a while, can’t I? ^^

No, I haven’t abandoned this site. A lot of things has just keep me busy these days. Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever have enough time for them all or I’ll just boycott them and sleep all day. Believe me, the urge is overwhelming.

• Created and organized the scanlation group of Aerandria
• Bought hosting and moved Swordian.com and chibilicious.com to this server
• Transferred the Winglica forum to Winglicans
• Translating the manga Ai Hime – Ai to Himegoto
• Trying to recruit staffers for Aerandria
• Added two new shops in the Winglica forum like Mystical Creatures and Toy Shop
• Scanning my various manga
• Watching the live-action series of Kurosagi. Hey, this is part of learning japanese!
• Proofreading transcripts for the manga scanlations

So yes, I believe I have my work cut out for me in the coming weeks. T_T
