Great Procrastinator

Full Moon wo sagashiteThe great procrastinator has struck again! I told myself that I would at least have a refresher course before I started on my new job on Wednesday. I said that last Thursday. And it’s now Monday night.

And what have I accomplished? Nothing. I haven’t even seen the book I am supposed to review. Arrg. The temptation on the net is too great.

Akito and Kureno Souma

Full Moon wo SagashiteWeb coding again. I finished revamping the shrines for both Akito Souma and Kureno Souma for our Fruits Basket Fanlisting!

I encountered some bugs in the CSS for IE again especially those positioning errors when it comes to div layers. Fixed and managed it in both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Now off to rest. I’ll tell you about how my resignation went in a while. =)

Quitting the Job

Full Moon wo SagashiteI will be quitting my job tomorrow. Ha!

Why, you ask? It all comes down to one thing. How can I stay in a company that prioritizes other positions other than our engineering ones, when in fact we are an engineering company! The compensation benefits are a nightmare.

The department assistant has a higher salary than me, for goodness sake! Not only do I have more job experience than her, I also have a professional license! A professional license! Something I worked my butt off in college for 5 years and then another year for the licensure exams. And our department assistant didn’t even pass her licensure exams!

Enough of the rant, though. I could go on and on about my company’s less-then-fai ways (not to mention the sexual harrassment issue earlier this year). So I won’t waste space on them.

I would like to write, in turn, about the people I will miss once I leave. To think that I have been with these people for almost two years, gah, it’s enough to make me cry. Not that I won’t be seeing them again ever. But I will definitely miss the camaraderie and friendship we have shared all those months.

I will miss them. *raises glass in a toast* This one’s for you, guys! Kampai!
