I’ve added some plugins to Wordpress today, just to make things a whole lot easier for me, and spiffier for you. (gah, I know. I’m inventing new words as we speak.)

• Gravatars - I’ve installed them before, I just haven’t incorporated them in the current theme till now)
• Amazon items - just to help me put links here for items I like. It does make the work easier.

Though I have to note that as I was searching through the various Wordpress plugins, I was dismayed at the lack of demos for most of the scripts. I mean, before I install something, I at least have to see how it works, right?

There comes a time in a web programmer (namely, me) where I’d like to slice databases like there is no tomorrow. What does that suppose to mean?

I ask myself, ‘If there are free web templates sites out there, why can’t there be a site which offers free PHP and mysql web site templates?’ And then of course, sanity kicks in.

The great procrastinator has struck again! I told myself that I would at least have a refresher course before I started on my new job on Wednesday. I said that last Thursday. And it’s now Monday night.

And what have I accomplished? Nothing. I haven’t even seen the book I am supposed to review. Arrg. The temptation on the net is too great.
