Shedding the Playground

angel sanctuaryJust when I think I’ve done all the crazy things I can do in a day, I prove myself wrong by doing something even more crazy than the last idiotic thing I did. I applied to be a staffer to an amazing site that I’ve been frequenting since I knew of its existence. I might never be picked. But that’s not the point. The point was that as I was writing down my application and example websites that they could view, there was only one thing running through my mind.

Sadist: One look at your website and they’ll think you’re a little girl in a frilly dress and pink ponytails! I mean, look at this website! It’s so sickeningly childish! >.< Do you really think they’ll hire you as a staff while your website looks like @#$&%?! I don’t think so. Act your age!

Masochist: But I think it’s cute! ^.^

Sadist: Shut up.

I suppose it is time to change the layout. I already had an image from my mind before. Something bare and very dark. Something that says ‘this is not owned by a girl in a frilly dress and pink ponytails.’

I guess that means it’s time to whip Wordpress in shape again.

Sadist: Oh, what fun. ^o^

Floral Expedition

mekakushi no kuni icon avatarAha! I’m finally going to post some pictures from my vacation here. I’ll group them per theme because I plan on making a story for each. XD Especially about the pets.

In the meantime here are some of my pictures of the various floral species I found at my aunt’s home. She loves orchids and other plants and it’s quite obvious since her house is littered with them.

Good Hearted Souls

kare kano avatar icon chapter 98It’s times like these that humans can be such delightfully surprising creatures. I lost my building ID the other day and I was not sure where I lost it exactly. The next evening I received a call that said someone found my ID and that I could claim it near my office building.

It was a very nice gesture. Especially since it wasn’t as valuable as a wallet or money, but still that person went out of his way to return it.

Unfortunately, the security guard at the building reception who gave me back my ID did not know the person who found my ID and who surrendered it to them. I would have liked to thank him.

So for you, the one who found my ID, my utmost thanks. ^_^
