As promised, here’s the story of the day we found out that a pregnant cat sneaked into our storage area and gave birth to two kittens. It includes a special participation by Maru. Click the images for larger versions.

Maru: Ohh~ New playmates! Can I play with them?
After a grueling three days, Maru is back from the vet! I don’t know whose days were more grueling: mine for being extremely worried about his health, or him for being in the vet clinic with tubes connected to him. ^^;
He was so excited when he got home that he went around the house the first few minutes, probably telling himself that he really is back. He hated the dog food that the veterinarian prescribed for him preferring his usual fare from us, fish mixed with rice. At first he didn’t want to eat anything so at dinner I offered him my food, from my own plate, and he ate. XDDD Well, at least he’s eating his food now. Maybe it made him feel more part of the family, eating from my plate. We still have to administer his medications and antibiotics but the sign that he is more active and cheerful is a good thing.

Content on being home again~
Our dog Maru has been melancholy and lacking in appetite the past couple of days and I’m worried. The weird thing is… he is so behaved… and… Maru is almost never behaved… so we knew something was wrong. ^^;
We took him to the vet today and they found out he had blood parasites. They advised that he be confined for a day so he’ll be staying there overnight so they can monitor his progress and give him his medications. They’re giving him lots of antibiotics to combat the parasites. I do hope he feels better when we take him home tomorrow.
