I’m exhausted. I just configured an entire community’s group blog with a lot of things that I didn’t even know existed but I know they will love. See the fruits of my labor and give me a hug. I am in definite need of one.

And yes, that’s a premade theme I downloaded from the WordPress library. I quite like it, and all the other members like it too so we decided to use it. *shrugs* This is me being lazy, so lazy that I wouldn’t have been able to update here if not for the miraculous wonder of the timestamp that lets me post in advance. I know, it’s cheating. =)

I do have to say that when I decide to do something, I do it all out. I had to upgrade that blog from 1.5 to 2.0.4, choose a suitable theme, download and install various plgins and only then was I able to customize it as I liked. I even managed to write a primer on How to Post a Blog Entry in WordPress because some got confused in posting.

Sigh. So here’s a comfort picture for you and me, to make us smile at the end of the day. Die from the cuteness? ^^”

As the deadline for the submittion of entries in the Philippine Web Awards got extended till the 15th of September, a new set of nominees are cropping up and it seems there are a lot more on the way.

At first I was dismayed at the lack of entries listed after the set deadline last August 31 but it seems some just needed a bit more time to polish things up before they submitted. A good thing. I was beginning to wonder what would have happened if there was a serious lack of nominees.

And speaking of nominees, there are an amazing bunch in the category I’m in so I’m really not expecting anything anymore. Besides, I visited their own blogs and they were very nice. It’s amazing how Filipinos bond with each other even with the tiniest common ground, even while living in polar opposites of the world.

Just in case you haven’t noticed, I finally finished some of the sections from before on Painted Wings. Among these are the Wallpapers section, Blinkies section, Winamp skins, and the yet-to-be-completed Notepaper section. yes, I’ve been quite busy. I think it was high time I put the former graphcis back up again so I can concentrate on making new ones.

As for the Layouts section, it;s coming in slowly because I decided to handpick some of the old layouts, and then validated them in both XHTML and CSS first before I post them up for download. It would be better for everyone that way so learning validation will be easy.

I also managed to find some of the better avatars we had before, like the one you see I’m using today.

Also added some new WordPress plugins. I’m feeling lazy to I’ll just list them.
