zerp kiriyuu icon avatar vampire knightSo I am officially back from my vacation in the province, with a brand-spanking hair style to boot (which explains the smexxy Zero avatar in this post). And yes, did manage to sneak in the study time for my japanese language lessons. Aha! Where there’s a will, there’s way!

And I’ve got plenty of pictures from my vacation to show everyone! *searches in pocket for the pictures*

. . .

Oh dang.

So I got the initiative to continue my japanese lessons a few days ago.. but forgot to download my vacation pictures to my pc. Trust me to procrastinate on something. T_T

*shuffles feet and goes back to translating Ouran High School Host Club volume 9*

Nihonggo Woes

Ion manga slumpI’m in a slump. That’s definitely it. I’m still going with my japanese language lessons but it isn’t going fast enough for me.

For example? I was browsing about Manga Jouhou’s forum a while ago and saw many groups needing Japanese to English translators for mangas. I desperately wanted to raise my hand and say “Me! I can translate!” and then my conscience says “Like hell, you do. You’ll translate slower than a snail can move.” Oh my conscience, as brutal as always.

We’re going to the province for a few days this Holy Week holidays and I’m planning determined to bring along my japanese study book. Who knows, I just might sneak in some lessons in between playing at the carnival booths and joining the rides.

Clover CLAMP avatarBe forewarned that this is a rant, and I do hope an exhaustive one, just to release the irritation.

Kyou Kara Maou (God Save our King) is going to be available in local television in the Philippines soon. So what’s so bad about that when I was just raving on how great the anime is a few days ago?

It’ll be re-dubbed in our native language, Tagalog. Read the rest of this entry »
