Post Office Frequent

love monster mangaAs I was getting my new manga shipment today, I was surprised that the people at the international package section already knew who I was and what my package was.

Well, considering that I also went there last week to get a delayed manga shipment, it’s no surprise that they know me already. They even asked me if I could read the japanese books in my package and what they are for and who uses them. yeah, I got a surprise interview then and there.

Well, all I have to say is that there ain’t seen the last of me yet. Now with Aerandria up and running, the international package division of the post office hasn’t seen the last of me yet. ^^

Running Around

shin angiyou onshi gaideI feel like I’m running around, to and fro, from whichever place I am needed. Running a scanlation site isn’t as easy as it’s cracked up to be, especially if you’re the main supplier of scanned manga for your group, advertising it on various sites, recruiting members, updating the website, coordinating with the staff members. I’m not complaining. It’s hard work but even though I get tired, I am loving every moment of it, especially when you get positive comments and reactions from visitors. It makes everything worthwhile.

And no, this entry has nothing to do with the image for this post. I just really like it so I included it here. I have a right to be random once in a while, can’t I? ^^

Hana Yori Dango Season 2

hana yori dango returns 2I started watching the second season of Hana Yori Dango (Hana Yori Dango Returns) yesterday and was a bit surprised at the change in their appearance, mostly for the F4 though since Tsukushi looked the same to me. XD They looked more mature in this though.

Verdict? From the couple of episodes I’ve watched so far, I think this is a good sequel for the first season. I didn’t even know I could cry during a sushi dinner, damn it!

I’m also reading the manga in my spare time to see how the live action series deviated from the manga. Well, it deviated a lot. I guess the one who followed the manga more closely would be the Taiwanese version, Meteor Garden. But in my opinion, the japanese version is definitely better.
