A while back I asked Michan if she could make a chibi mascot for the forum here. Just a little one for the forum banner. We talked about the details, a blond samurai.. and chibi. That was as far as we talked about it. And it was amazing the things she same up with.

So this page is for Michan’s amazing talent for creating Samu-chan (taken from the fact that he’s a samurai. ^^) The images are for the exclusive use of Swordian.

I promised to use them on the next layout of Swordian. I just have to find the right inspiration so as to not murder the artworks. ^^

I’ve taken quite a few pictures of our pets but this will be the first time that I will be posting them. So it’ll be like their internet debut today. ^_^

Here is our oldest pet named Kulet. He’s about seven years old now and has been with us since.. since.. he was conceived. ^^ He’s totally devoted to my brother and follows him around everywhere; sleeps when he sleeps and eats when he eats. ^^

Here’s our pet dog named Maru who we got just May last year so he isn’t a year-old yet. He’s a busybody and likes to be beside anyone at any given time. He’s also the one who ate and shredded my manga to bits. It seems he’s in the teething stage. >.<

Due to the lull I received after finishing part of the web project I had before, I am now concentrating solely on improving my japanese. I’m trying to memorize and understand the numerous japanese sentence patterns. It’s encouraging to read my japanese manga after brushing up on my japanese sentence patterns since I understand more of what I read after learning the patterns.

The effect? I bought several japanese mangas online. Oh, dear. Will I be overwhelmed? Well, at least I know it’ll be more than a month till they get here so I’ll have plenty of time to practice. ^^

I’m also looking forward to translating the mangas for Michan’s manga scanlation site. *rolls up sleeve* I’m ready to polish my nihonggo skills!
