I am overworked. Again. With my office work? No. With my online scanlation work. Yes, and whoever said that handling so many staff is easy ought to be shot. In the ass. So now I am procrastinating by blogging here and thinking happy thoughts rather than reaching for the nearest neck to strangle in frustration.
Ah, here’s something. My mom has been asking me if I was serious about buying an exercise equipment for us at home. She’s been watching infomercials, it seems. I’ve been thinking about it since she keeps telling us to go to a gym and work out. The fact that I am not getting slimmer by drinking vitamins did cross my mind, though.
So I said yes just to stop all the complaining about my brother and I not getting out more and having some exercise. Next thing I knew, I gave my mother my consent to buyT_T one of those exercise machines that you see on TV. Yes. I bought an exercise machine. Oh, someone help.
And to worsen the blow, my mom asked me if I also wanted to buy one of those grill things that doesn’t use oil to cook and where the fat just slides off the grill. It was one of those times that I knew I couldn’t say no to my mother and arguing would just lead to more persuading. Yes, beware of my mother’s persuasive powers.
So here we are, a few days later, with an exercise machine and a George Foreman grill (Oh dear heaven…
) and with a huge hole in both my pockets (I paid for both
).
Is this a step for a healthier lifestyle on my part? I hope so, what with the amount of money I paid for those things. >.<
