Jasmine asked me to go and watch the Da Vince Code movie together with her tomorrow. For the reason that I haven’t seen a movie in quite a while and I have read the book by Dan Brown before, I agreed.
I honestly don’t know what all the hoopla is about. It’s a work of fiction. So there are some controversial themes there, and some people will tend to doubt their faith. But then again, if your faith is strong it shouldn’t be shaken up by something minor as this, right?

Hi Licorne! You got a new domain? Did you close Painted Wings? Well, this site looks great. I hope you add the goodies soon.
The movie created a big hoopla in India too but it has been passed with an Adult certificate but its still not released due to some controvery over showing disclaimer by sony pictures, I was really excited to watch the movie. I loved the book and will definitely see the movie thought the reviews are not good.
It’s because of that. People actually died over religious conflict since the beginning of time (and even before Christianity, remember). It’s an endless cycle over whose faith is more sound, whose is better, whose is superior, whose is the truth.
..and with controversy seeping in one of the major world religions, how could they not react (in behalf of those whose faith is weak)?
PS- it’s ‘The da Vinci Code’ (DB ruined everyone’s conception of the name by capitalizing everything and thus everyone assumes the ‘da’ in ‘da Vinci’ is proper– when in fact it’s just latin for ‘of’ meaning Leonardo of Vinci.. the village where he was Christened and where he grew up in) xD
