One True Wish

The second installment of my trip to Tagaytay.

At the entrance to the Tagaytay chapel were the instructions that one must ask for a wish the moment they enter the premises. What did I wish for?

Besides the usual health, wealth and prosperity for my family and I, I also wished to be able to find a new stable job that I like and that pays well. I feel so underpaid in my current job.

But there was one true wish I asked for that day.

I wished to be able to finally meet my fate. After waiting for so long, I really want to meet him. I don’t want to go through my life not having have met him. I would feel empty.
