This site was originally part of my other anime graphic site, Mirrored Waters
but I decided to make that a gallery site instead since it was on a free host and they only provided 30MB and by then the site was already 23MB. And since I couldn’t make a graphic site with only 7MB I decided to split the two sites.

The first version of Painted Wings was hosted on another server, and I got settled in, built a staff, but after two months my host’s site went down and along with it, my graphic site. #_#

And then I was hosted by Sarah starting with Version 2 which lasted more than 6 months.

Then I moved the site to Aniwaii where the dynamic and database driven version of Painted Wings was established.

After a time of constant URL changes and relocations, I finally decided to buy Painted Wings its own domain! It was purchased on March 8, 2005.

I was determined ot find a reliable host and, luckily, I found one. So I was hosted by the wonderful Maja, who has been so kind and generous to me. And also one of the few persons I would never get tired of saying ‘ Thank you’ to. Thanks, Maja! *hugs*

It would have been ‘happily ever after’ but my domain registrar decided to bail out on me. A long story short, I lost the painted-wings.com domain because my registrar got lazy. In truth then, I wanted to say to hell with it all. I wanted to quit.

After a few months of being lazy though, the designing urge called on me again. And slowly but surely, I am rebuilding my graphics site here at Swordian, along with my blog. I decided to drop the name Painted Wings because.. because.. I wanted to start new.
