Spent most of the morning trying to activate the Topic Calendar for Winglica Forum but there seems to be something missing still. I can’t get it to work. A lot of hours wasted.

On a happier note, I’ve finished the new layout for my Kyou Sohma shrine and I am now migrating all the pages into WordPress. Not a lot to see there at the moment, though. I want to get the work done as soon as possible.

The layout features several images of Kyou, ranging from the kid to the teen. I wanted to create a magazine-type kind of feel for the layout. I am content with how it turned out.

Talk about lying through one’s teeth. Michan informed me that she was able to catch my previous domain registrar on YM last night. My registrar asked for my email address so she could contact me about the domains I bought from her. Here it is:

Sorry I lost contact with you. I was able to chat with Michan and i ask for your email address. This is regarding your domains painted-wings.com and eternico.net. Just wondering if you still want to renew your domains? Your files, i believe, are still intact (at least for eternico.net i suppose).

And then followed by:

Sorry it’s me again. I forgot to tell you that since your domains have expired, they have been sold to other owners by the registrar. Ill try if I can still grab them but they wil be expiring next year of may so most likely its impossible to grab them now. Ive been waiting for calls from you (I believe I gave you my office number). I lost my address book because I forgot to back them up when i formatted my PC.

What a liar!!! My friend, Jasmine and I tried to contact her several times, even long before our domains expired. And I mean several. 20 or more calls in her home, office, cellphone, YM messages, emails, but to no avail!

Imagine, we would call her house and they’d say that she’s talking to someone and we should call back within 15 minutes. So we do so. We call back 15 minutes later. And do you know what they said? "She’s asleep."

Hear that? She’s asleep. And that didn’t just happen once. It happened every single time we tried to contact her. It’s either she’s busy, asleep, taking a bath, etc. And her office says she’s on leave. My emails to her bounce back to me.

Not to mention the domains were set to expire in March 7, 2006. Do you know when she contacted me? May 25, 2006!! A full 2 months after my domains expired! $%#@!

And she dare say those excuses to me?! I wanted to keep those domains so much that I even went directly to the registering company. And you know what they said?

Unfortunately without [registrar's name here]‘s consent to the fees, we are unauthorized to renew the domain.

I asked if there was any way to renew the domains without her. They said:

Unfortunately not. painted-wings.com is under the sole ownership of [registrar's name here]

Just freaking wonderful.

I just hope Winglica and Swordian doesn’t suffer the same fate.

An officemate of mine is getting married tomorrow so here I am trying to find the right clothes to wear to the ocassion, when an irritating conclusion drew upon me that doesn’t fail to make we swear each time I thinkk about it.

I’ve gotten fat.

Damn it.

I blame it all on my place of work. My company likes throwing parties. Welcome parties, farewell parties, regularization parties; any kind of party will do.

It’s usually dinner at some high-class place, and then onto a next place for either bowling or billiards, where we eat. Again. Damn.

I’m going to have to go through another diet and figure out how to lower my weight. Last time all I did was add plenty of liquids to my diet. I hope that helps me again in losing weight.

So for now, it’s the fight against calories. Damn.
