My mom called home and asked me to check her email for her. She said to read an email from a certain person she knew, and then send that email to everyone we knew. Not truly understanding what the situation was, but being obedient, I complied.
The email was I was supposed to read contained instructions from people supposedly from Microsoft, telling me to forward that email to everyone I knew, and in return they’ll give me money depending on how many people I send it to.
In other words, it was spam.
